Alphauserpoint PhpBB3 Rules

For a long time i using joomla and phpbb3, now I have made different rules for the component alphauserpoint which give points for different activities performed by users into the forum realized in phpBB3 (3.0.5 version).
You can test rules in jfusion, phpbb3 and alphauserpoints rules
It took me some time to achieve them then I would be grateful to those who wish to make a donation before downloading the rules.

The rules are tested and fully functional with p8pbb bridges and jfusion (first is commercial but second is free). Please make attention to config jfusion well, if it isn’t config well rules can’t work beacouse alpahuserpoint can’t work, Users to be simultaneously logged into phpbb3 and joomla otherwise the component alphauserpoint can not function, for more information please consult Jfusion Ufficial Forum.
Before installing the rules you have to integrate your site with the bridge component (p8pbb or jfusion), I made a movie to explain how to install jfusion. Install Jfusion phpbb3 bridge component
After you can install the rules, inside the zip file you find a .xml file and a .txt file. XML serve to install a plug-in in alphauserpoint TXT contains the instructions to install the rule. - plgaup_newfilepost: This rule adds o remove points if user add a new file in the forum.
- plgaup_newforumpost: This rule adds or remove points if user adds a new post or edit a post in the forum.
- plgaup_newpollpost: This rule adds or remove points if an user adds a new poll in the forum.
- plgaup_newpollreply: This rule adds or remove points if an user add a new reply to the poll.
- plgaup_newuploadprofile: This rule adds or remove points if an user upload his profile.
- plgaup_newavatarupload: This rule adds or remove points if user adds a new avatar in his profile.
- plgaup_newavatardelete: This rule adds or remove points if an user remove avatar from his profile.
- plgaup_newpmpost: This rule adds or remove points if an user send a new private message.
- plgaup_newpmreceived: This rule adds or remove points if an user received a new private message.
- plgaup_newdownloadfile: This rule adds o remove points if user download a new file in the forum, it work only if user download file the first time.
Note that it is a hack core php code, becouse it requires changing the code of a php file to phpbb3, so you should make a file backup before.
In the near future will create other rules so check my blog.

Hello have you install correctly jfusion bridge component in wrapp mode and dual login? Have your user delete their cookies from their browser? Please write more datails…thanks

I tried to purchase this, paypal has confirmed my order and deducted the cost from my account, but your download link just redirected me to your front page, and removed the download link from my account.

Hi, I would like to purchase your AUP phpbb Rules however there is no rule for “new forum topic”. I do not want to give my users points for every post they make, I only want to give them points for starting new threads. Do you have that rule? Please contact me via, the rules you currently have are no use to me but I really need the new topic one (and unfortunately do not have the skills to write them myself!

I completed the PayPal transaction, received my confirmation but when I clicked on the download it just redirected me to the home page and now when I go to download, there is no link.
This seems to have been a problem with several other people, had I seen it prior to paying I would not have.

Thanks, I received the email but after installing it I found out that it will only work in “Frameless” mode.
I wish this was mentioned up front before I purchased the plugin, downloaded the AlphaUserPoints software and installed and configured everything. It’s no use to me if users can’t receive points for posting.
I have no choice but to run in “wrapped” mode because the templates I’m using do not display properly in frameless.
Do you plan on coming out with an update to run in wrapped mode?
Hello, in this moment i’m very busy at work, so i can’t tell you when i can develope rules for wrapped mode. I also wrote a guide on how to use JFusion in frameless mode. In any case I advise you to use the prosilver not to have problems.
I’ve gone ahead and changed a few things, also had to modify some CSS but finally got it to work. Thanks for the reply.
